The 2012 NFL Preseason schedule has been released. You can find the entire preseason schedule over at our affiliate at NFLspinzone.
I didn’t want to bother releasing the whole pre-season schedule for every team because for the most part, who cares?
There are some interesting dates though, this year the Giants and Jets will play their pre-season game the second week instead of the third week. Usually the third week is the week where starers player a significant number of snaps, but this year each team has a Nationally televised game in the third week so that’s not happening.
What is also interesting is that the Arizona Cardinals have two preseason games televised nationally.
Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin, barring something completely unexpected, will also play each other in pre-season when the Colts play the Redskins–a game that won’t be nationally televised for some reason. Despite everything that has gone on with the Saints this off-season the Saints will be one of the first two televised teams in the N.F.L. season, as they host the pre-season opener, the Hall of fame game against the Cardinals August 5th–this also means that the Saints will get to open up training camp earlier than every other team with their new coach.
