#16 Cincinnati Bengals-Barrett Jones, T, Alabama

The Bengals add a tackle who is considered to be an elite RT type prospect, but a guy who also has some LT ability. Jones is strong and powerful, but also more athletic than people give him credit for being. If Jones plays at the same level this year (as well as D.J. Fluker) the Alabama Crimson Tide running game will be tough to stop running once again.

#17 Atlanta Falcons -Oday Absoushi, T, Virginia

Aboushi is another guy who isn’t on the main-stream radar, but a guy who had a chance to sneak into the late part of the first round this year. Next year with improvement he could be a solid first round prospect. Aboushi 6’6 310 pounds an athletic pass blocker.

#18 Chicago Bears-Keenan Allen, WR, California

Allen is so good that he pushed Marvin Jones almost into obscurity this year. I think Allen has a great chance to over-take Woods as the number one wide receiver because of appealing size at 6’3 203 pounds and physical ability.

#19 Philadelphia Eagles-Tyler Wilson, QB, Arkansas

The Eagles have shown that they will show interest in quarterback prospects early in the draft even if they are set at quarterback. With all the talent on the Eagles roster if the Eagles don’t make the playoffs again in 2012 there will have to be some sort of changes coming and quarterback might become a realistic option. This value is too good for the tough and poised Wilson. Wilson has to be more accurate though.

#20 San Diego Chargers-Jake Matthews, T, Texas A and M

The Chargers could be without a real tackle option this year and that could spell trouble. If that is the case they might not be in the playoffs for another year.

#21 Pittsburgh Steelers-DeMarcus Milliner, CB, Alabama

I think the Steelers should consider adding a cornerback this year because they don’t have a great cornerback now. Ike Taylor is ok

#22 Carolina Panthers-Bjoern Werner, DE, FSU

I don’t know if I’m sold on Warner as a top 15 prospect yet, he looked like it at times this year when he was unblockable. It’ll be interesting to see how he responds to more attention next year. This year all the attention was focused on Jenkins. Warner won’t be able to take team by surprise next year. Still he offers pass rushing ability in a league that is all about the quarterback and the pass rush.

#23 New York Giants-Jackson Jeffcoat, DE, Texas

17 tackles for loss and 8 sacks in a major conference will get you drafted in the first round.

#24 Kansas City Chiefs-Tyler Eifert, TE, Norte Dame

Not really a need, but a good player. Eifert would have been the best TE in this class and will battle UCLA’s Joseph Fauria as the top Tight End in next year’s draft. Eifert doesn’t have blazing speed, but is a huge target and catches well. He can also block.

#25 Denver Broncos-Kawaan Short, DT, Purdue

Short is a gap-penetrating defensive tackle who offers a lot of potential as a pass rusher. Short would have been a 2nd or 3rd round prospect at this stage in his football career this year, but with another year of improvement can be a late 1st rounder.

#26 St. Louis Rams (Via Washington Redskins)-Matt Elam, S, Florida

#27 Baltimore Ravens-Jonathan Banks, CB, Mississippi State

#28 Green Bay Packers-Sean Porter, OLB, Texas A and M

#29 San Francisco 49ers-Aaron Murray, QB, Georgia

Murray is a shorter, athletic quarterback with a big arm. He throws a beautiful spiral. The 49ers are taking their sweet time getting something done with Alex Smith. They still have Kapernick waiting in the wings, but maybe Harbaugh decides after this year he’s not the answer in the future.

#30 New England Patriots-C.J. Mosley, LB, Alabama

Who knows what the Patriot would do (or any team in a 2013 mock for that matter), but Alabama defenders are Belichick like players and this is fine value for Mosley.

#31 Detroit Lions-Tyrann Matheiu, S, LSU

Matheiu is undersized, but is a playmaker. He seems more like a nickel slot cover guy or Bob Sanders sized safety. Is Matheiu a first round prospect? Probably not. But he has play-making ability in abundance and that is a premium in today’s N.F.L. and Matheiu could be drafted in the firs round.

#32 Houston Texans-Kenny Stills, WR, Oklahoma

The Texans might look to add a wide receiver to their team in this off-season, but if not it’s possible they do so next year. Stills who is another guy who is not huge, but has terrific speed. He emerged with the injury to Ryan Broyles for the Sooners. Ending the season with nearly 900 yards and 8 touchdowns. Stills is a late first round player 2nd round type as of today.
