Initial NFL Scouting Combine Invitation List
CBS Rob Rang was able to get the intial invitation list for the combine. This list only includes Seniors as of right now and I can’t personally verify any of this information, but Rang is a very reliable source.
Here is the breakdown:
Quarterback:
- BJ Coleman, Tennessee-Chattanooga
- Aaron Corp, Richmond
- Kirk Cousins, Michigan State
- Nick Foles, Arizona
- Chandler Harnish, Northern Illinois
- Case Keenum, Houston
- Ryan Lindley, San Diego State
- Kellen Moore, Boise State
- Ryan Tannehill, Texas A&M
- Brandon Weeden, Oklahoma State
- Russell Wilson, Wisconsin
- Patrick Witt, Yale
Of these players Russel Wilson, Brandon Weeden, Nick Foles, Kirk Cousins have a chance of being drafted on day two. Ryan Tannehill could be drafted on day one.
Name to watch: Chandler Harnish. a favorite here at NFLmocks could make a name for himself.
I’m not the biggest fan of Kellen Moore, but I do think Case Keenum is worth a chance at some point on day three.
Running back:
- Vick Ballard, Mississippi State
- Brandon Bolden, Mississippi
- Jeff Demps, Florida
- Terrance Ganaway, Baylor
- Cyrus Gray, Texas A&M
- Jonas Gray, Notre Dame
- Dan Herron, Ohio State
- Doug Martin, Boise State
- Alfred Morris, Florida Atlantic
- Isaiah Pead, Cincinnati
- Tauren Poole, Tennessee
- Chris Rainey, Florida
- Marc Tyler, Southern Cal
- Fozzy Whittaker, Texas
The two best running backs here are Isaiah Pead and Doug Martin. Terrance Ganaway had a huge bowl game and if he can show better than anticipated burst and speed could see a real signiciant increase in his draft stock. Right now he’s probably a round four or five pick.
Tight End:
- Michael Egnew, Missouri
- Coby Fleener, Stanford
- Ladarius Green, Louisianna-Lafayette
- James Hanna, Oklahoma
- Cory Harkey, UCLA
- Emil Igwenagu, Massachusetts-Amhurst
- David Paulson, Oregon
- Deangelo Peterson, LSU
- Nick Provo, Syracuse
- Evan Rodriguez, Temple
Michael Egnew needs a big pre-draft process. LaDarius Green has a wold of ability and will be a workout warrior at the combine.
Wide receiver:
- Joe Adams, Arkansas
- Travis Benjamin, Miami
- Jarrett Boykin, Virginia Tech
- Lavonn Brazill, Ohio
- Ryan Broyles, Oklahoma
- Danny Coale, Virginia Tech
- Josh Cooper, Oklahoma State
- Juron Criner, Arizona
- B.J. Cunningham, Michigan State
- Pat Edwards, Houston
- Michael Floyd, Notre Dame
- Jeff Fuller, Texas A&M
- T.J. Graham, North Carolina State
- Junior Hemingway, Michigan
- TY Hilton, Florida International
- AJ Jenkins, Illinois
- Dwight Jones, North Carolina
- Marvin Jones, California
- Keshawn Martin, Michigan State
- Rishard Mathews, Nevada
- Marquis Maze, Alabama
- Marvin McNutt, Iowa
- Kashif Moore, Connecticut
- Chris Owusu, Stanford
- Devier Posey, Ohio State
- Brian Quick, Appalachian State
- Gerell Robinson, Arizona State
- Nick Toon, Wisconsin
- Jordan White, Western Michigan
- Jarius Wright, Arkansas
- Kendall Wright, Baylor
- Devon Wylie, Fresno State
Jeff Fuller and Juron Criner need huge combines. Their stock has dropped throughout the season.
Offensive linemen:
OFFENSIVE LINEMEN
- Mike Adams, Ohio State
- Jeff Allen, Illinois
- Justin Anderson, Georgia
- Tony Bergstrom, Utah
- James Brown, Troy
- Tom Compton, South Dakota
- Andrew Datko, Florida State
- Taylor Dever, Notre Dame

- Lamar Holmes, Southern Mississippi
- Marcel Jones, Nebraska
- Senio Kelemete, Washington
- Ronald Leary, Memphis
- Matt McCants, Alabama-Birmingham
- Brandon Mosley, Auburn
- Josh Oglesby, Wisconsin
- Kelechi Osemele, Iowa State
- Nate Potter, Boise State
- Matt Reynolds, BYU
- Zebrie Sanders, Florida State
- Mitchell Schwartz, California
- Amini Silatolu, Midwestern State
- Donald Stephenson, Oklahoma
- Dustin Waldron, Portland State
- Rokevious Watkins, South Carolina
- Markus Zusevics, Iowa
Zebrie Sanders, Cordy Glenn and Mike Adams could all solidfy a first round grade with a huge combine. Florida State’s Andrew Datko needs to show that he is healthy to regain a day two grade.
