Buffalo Bills Enter Suck for Luck Too Late, Dolphins are Surging
Early in the season it looked like Buffalo Bills were going to compete for the playoffs with 5 wins and a reasonable schedule that included two games vs the Dolphins and Jets, the Dolphins on the other hand were being annoited as the worst team in the league (or second worse as bad as the Chiefs were playing but fast forward to week 11 and all of a Sudden it is the Bills who look like they are one of the league’s worst team. Their once potent offense is sputtering despite continued solid out-put by Stud running back Fred Jackson. The defense early in the year was creating a lot of turnovers, but now is just giving up points.
The Bills have been completely uncompetitive in the first half of the last two games against the Cowboys and the Dolphins.
The Bills sit with 5 wins and have already given Ryan Fitpatrick a huge contract, but since then he’s struggled mightily. The Bills were a nice story, but a good reminder about what it takes to win consistently in this league: depth. The Bills have none of it. They have not been able to overcome injuries to Demetrius Bell and Kyle Williams among others.
The promising young wide receiver corps is also looking more and more questionable with each passing week. The Bills aren’t able to challenge teams down the field and because of that teams are challenging the Bills short passing game leading to lot of three and outs, tipped passes and interceptions.
The Dolphins with each win are moving themselves further and further away from Andrew Luck or Matt Barkley. But on the bright side with each passing game Matt Moore is showing there is a place in the league for him somewhere as a very quality backup. Will his recent success cost the Dolphins the future?
The Bills have the rest of this half to come out and show the world they are going to play hard and hungry and try to compete .
