Pros

Quick off the ball…makes a ton of splash plays…good closing pursuit speed..good motor…explosive off the snap…has played defensive tackle and defensive end at Fresno State…punishing tackler…good awarness

Cons

Undersized needs to add more bulk…short arms…kind of a tweener best in college as a DT, won’t have the requisite size to play defensive tackle in most systems…will have to work on his moves at the N.F.L. level

Thoughts

Harrell is one of those college players you fall in love with, but are worried about their transition to the N.F.L. Harrell is hard worker, he’s quick off the snap. He’s a good player. He’s undersized though for a defensive tackle and likely will be relegated to defensive end in the N.F>L. probably a left defensive end as a run stuffer, situational pass rusher. His biggest issues are his functional strength, size to hold up, and his arm length, once those long armed tackles get on him it’s going to be hard for him to disengage. I love him as a late rounder because he makes so many splash plays and has great hustle. He ill likely be drafted late in the third round.
