Fantasy Football: Start and Sit: Injury Roundup. Antonio Gates, Peyton Hillis out.

In my other league made up of all Fansided NFL Editors I have some different decisions to make.

At QB I have Big Ben or Kyle Orton

I’m going to play Big Ben.

RB is the strength of my team.

I have Ray Rice and Darren McFadden (obvious starts) And Bradshaw (Obvious flex start). No decisions there.

At WR

My top two WR are Stevie Johnson and Kenny Britt.

With the Patriots rough passing defense I’m going to start Stevie Johnson

With Kenny Britt playing against the Broncos and so far being a stud. He’s averaging 22.0 points per game through the first two games the highest scorer on my team.

My bench isn’t that great:

Brandon Jacobs, Michael Bush

Matt Hasselbeck and Kyle Orton

Fred Davis

Lee Evans (out), Steve Smith.

The biggest move I made in this league was to drop the Giants defense and pick up the Redskins defense. The Giants Defense looks awful this year, and they have no return game with the loss of Hixon which hurts their possible value. Also in this league the defense can lose a lot of points, which they have given up the last few years. They make big plays, but they give up a lot of yardage as well. The other decision I have to mak is whether to play Brandon Jacobs or Bradshaw. Jacobs seems like a good fit to play the against the Eagles. He’s big strong and goes straight forward. Some of his best games have been vs the Eagles.

General start and sit.

Eli Manning.

Tough call. If you have a comparable option drop him. There have been times when Eli has absolutely lit up the Eagles defense, but I don’t think he has the weapons this week.

Denarius Moore.

I know Moore has been great in the preseason and in his first game this season, but Revis is not Leodis McKelvin or preseason scrubs. I’m sitting Moore today vs the Jets.

I think James Starks is a tough start vs the Bears and I’m looking for other options if you have them.

What about DeAngelo Williams in Jacksonville or a player like Cedric Benson vs the 49ers.

One of my colleagues is going with Benson over Williams, but I think Williams is a good start today.
