Bengals pick up a true franchise signal caller with Andrew Luck, who is currently the consensus top player in the draft.

2. Jacksonville Jaguars: Quinton Coples, DE, North Carolina

Jags fortify their defensive front by picking the athletic, versatile defensive lineman Coples from UNC.

3. Washington Redskins: Landry Jones, QB, Oklahoma

Mike Shanahan (if he’s still there) gets one of the most accurate passers in the draft, and a good one in Heisman candidate Landry Jones.

4. Carolina Panthers: Alshon Jeffery, WR, South Carolina

Carolina gives former top pick Cam Newton the best WR target to come along in a while.

5. Buffalo Bills: Matt Barkley, QB, USC

Bills start fresh at QB with the fiery Matt Barkley.

6. Seattle Seahawks: Dre’ Kirkpatrick, DB, Alabama

Seahawks upgrade the back end of their defense with the big, athletic Kirkpatrick.

7. Oakland Raiders: Matt Kalil, OL, USC

Raiders continue to upgrade on the offensive line with the addition of Kalil one of the best OT prospects you will see.

8. Tennessee Titans: Justin Blackmon, WR, Oklahoma State

Titans give Jake Locker another weapon in the passing game in touchdown machine Justin Blackmon.

9. San Francisco 49ers: Morris Claiborne, CB, LSU

Niners get one of the hottest players in the country, and an emerging top NFL prospect in Morris Claiborne.

10. Denver Broncos: Alfonzo Dennard, CB, Nebraska

Broncos go with a veteran college player and a shut-down caliber corner to pair with Champ Bailey for the future in Alfonzo Dennard.

11. Minnesota Vikings: Michael Floyd, WR, Notre Dame

Vikings get a big, athletic playmaker at the WR position to help develop Christian Ponder and free up space for Percy Harvin.

12. Cleveland Browns: Brandon Jenkins, DE, Florida State

Browns steal one here, getting arguably the best pass rusher in the NFL Draft.

13. Miami Dolphins: Trent Richardson, RB, Alabama

Dolphins continue to go with a power game on the ground, and pick up a Heisman candidate and one of the hardest working players in college football.

14. Arizona Cardinals: Jonathan Martin, OL, Stanford

The Cardinals need to upgrade the OL, and they do so by getting a potential All American in Martin.

15. Detroit Lions: Luke Kuechly, LB, Boston College

Lions continue to add pieces to their defense, drafting the tackling machine Kuechly from BC.

16. Kansas City Chiefs: Mark Barron, S, Alabama

Chiefs look to have the deadliest secondary in the league, led by head-hunter safeties Mark Barron and Eric Berry.

17. St. Louis Rams: Manti Te’o, LB, Notre Dame

Rams pick up the tackling machine from Notre Dame to be the leader of their defense.

18. Indianapolis Colts: Brandon Thompson, DT, Clemson

Colts have to upgrade the front four, and they do so by getting one of the best DT’s available this year.

19. Dallas Cowboys: Jared Crick, DE, Nebraska

Cowboys upgrade their run defense and pass rush up front by getting the blue-collar Jared Crick.

20. Chicago Bears: Riley Reiff, OL, Iowa

Bears continue to build their offense around Cutler, supplementing the selection of Gabe Carimi last year with All Big Ten performer Riley Reiff.

21. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Stephon Gilmore, CB, South Carolina

Bucs get a steal in the physical, athletic cornerback Stephon Gilmore, one of my favorites.

22. New York Giants: Bruce Irvin, LB/DE, West Virginia

Giants love pass rushers, and they need depth at linebacker. Irvin can play a “joker” type of role for them and be an impact player right away on third downs.

23. Houston Texans: Jeff Fuller, WR, Texas A&M

Texans team up Fuller with Andre Johnson to help provide their passing game with a huge boost of youth and athletic ability.

24. Baltimore Ravens: Donte Paige-Moss, OLB, North Carolina

Ravens continue to look for another outside edge rusher to go with Terrell Suggs.

25. Philadelphia Eagles: Zach Brown, LB, North Carolina

Eagles finally pick up a speedy, athletic linebacker who will make plays all over the field from day one.

26. New York Jets: Cordy Glenn, OL, Georgia

Jets go for a more experienced, more pro ready option at guard with Cordy Glenn over Vlad Ducasse, and he starts right away.

27. New England Patriots (via New Orleans Saints): Courtney Upshaw, LB, Alabama

The Patriots need pass rushers off the edge, and Upshaw can provide that. He can also play inside or out.

28. Pittsburgh Steelers: David DeCastro, OL, Stanford

Steelers were looking for the other Pouncey brother this past year, so they settle next year for an intelligent bruiser in David DeCastro.

29. San Diego Chargers: Vontaze Burfict, LB, Arizona State

Chargers continue to build on the defensive side of the ball with the “dirty” linebacker Vontaze Burfict.

30. Cleveland Browns (via Atlanta Falcons): Andrew Datko, OL, Florida State

Browns upgrade either their guard or right tackle position to keep Colt McCoy on his feet.

31. New England Patriots: T.J. McDonald, S, USC

Patriots fill the void left by Brandon Meriweather and James Sanders by picking up the hot rising safety prospect T.J. McDonald.

32. Green Bay Packers: Jerel Worthy, DL, Michigan State

Packers look for a steal at the bottom of round one with Michigan State potential break-out star Jerel Worthy, who could go much higher than this.
