Tim Tebow Has LeBron James’ Full Endorsement

In the wake of Merril Hoge’s idiotic comments on Twitter and ESPN today, Tim Tebow had just one thing to say to Merril via his Twitter page:

“Hey Merril…’ppreciate that.”

You all already know how I feel about Hoge’s comments from my earlier post. In short, they are disgusting and stupid. In fact, they are so disgusting and stupid that the best basketball player in the world–Miami HEAT forward LeBron James–felt the need to intervene:

“Tim Tebow will succeed in the NFL. He’s a hard worker, a student of the game, a natural born leader and most of all a WINNER! It takes time and he’ll be nice. Listened to Merril Hoge today on SC and he was just blasting Tebow. The man hasn’t even play a full season and its only his 2nd year in. Guys get on that TV and act like they was all WORLD when they played. How bout encouraging him and wishing him the best instead of hating!!”

Hey LeBron James–‘ppreciate that.

I was ticked at LeBron for choosing the Miami Heat over the Chicago Bulls last summer, but this gives him a huge respect increase in my book, not that that means anything at all. I’m glad LeBron essentially told Merril Hoge to shut his freaking mouth unless he has some words of encouragement.

Nobody gets fired up about Tebow like me, but for Hoge to say what he said today gets everyone fired up, even NBA players.
