Plans Moved Up, Undrafted Free Agents Able To Sign Tonight
You can’t say we didn’t tell you. The NFL is back and the activity has already picked up. ESPN’s John Clayton reported that undrafted free agents were able to sign with teams tonight (Monday, 7/25) and that dealings were currently underway. Adam Schefter confirmed the report. The undrafted free agents have had to wait through the long, strenuous CBA process like the rest of us. The only difference is that the undrafted players have been waiting for a chance to sign with teams and begin their careers. As I type this post, ProFootballTalk just tweeted that UDFA Damien Berry looks to sign with the Baltimore Ravens tomorrow. The news will come fast and furious throughout the night and into tomorrow.
