Tim Tebow has a new memoir out, “Through My Eyes”, chronicling his life and the way he has chosen to live it (based on faith). In the memoir Tebow, “brings readers everywhere an inspirational memoir about life as he chose to live it, revealing how his faith and family values, combined with his relentless will to succeed, have molded him into the person that he is today. As the son of Christian missionaries, Tebow has a unique story to tell—from the circumstances of his birth, to his home-schooled roots, to his record-setting collegiate football career with the Florida Gators and everything else that took place in between. At every step, Tebow’s life has defied convention and expectation.” (google products summary).

Last night, Tebow appeared on the Jon Stewart show and indications are that he didn’t let Stewart best him, which is impressive because he does get a lot of people. If you didn’t see it you can check out one of the replay services like Hulu, or you can check your guide on television to see when the show replays. In my hometown, Rochester, NY. The Jon Stewart show will replay at 9:30 am, 1 P.M., and 7 P.M on comedy central.

It seems a little crazy to have a memoir at the age of 23, but what had I done by 23? Not much. Still, it’ll probably feel incomplete especially since he’s likely to be in the public eye for awhile if he’s successful in the N.F.L. and if he does flame out of the N.F.L. that would also be something that should be in a memoir. Perhaps he’ll write another one in the future. But I don’t think the focus of the book is on football.
