Draft News: Brandon Marshall Hosptialized

Brandon Marshall has been hosptialized after a stabbing according to Profootballtalk.

Adam Schefter of ESPN, citing two unnamed sources, reports that Marshall is in intensive care after being stabbed by a woman.

As Schefter points out, details are sketchy.  It’s unclear, for example, when the stabbing occurred.

Since being traded last year to the Dolphins, Marshall has avoided controversy. 

Hopefully everything turns out well and he is able to recover. We’ll keep you updated as more details are relased.

Apparently the Jaguars and Titans are very high on Colin Kaepernick. There’s speculation that he could even sneak into the first round. While the Cowboys are not high on Nick Fairley. Reports are also out that the Cowboys have J.J. Watt very high on their board. I asked Josh Sanchez of www.thelandryhat.com a Cowboys blog, and he said he thinks there’s a 70 percent chance that Cowboys will end up with J.J. Watt. I think where the offensive linemen end up is an intriguing storyline in this draft. People don’t love this OL class, but like quarterbacks they are always overvalued. I still think there will be some OL drafted higher than people think. One person, I think that could happen to is T Jah Reid out of UCF. Check him out yet if you haven’t.

Will the Bengals have to trade up for a QB. In conversations I’ve had with people who follow the Bengals it appears they really like Andy Dalton. I think it’s a bit crazy to take him in the first round, but maybe the Bengals can stay put and get him in the second round. The Seahawks have been another team rumored to be heavily interested in Dalton.
