Rex vs. Rob In “Sunday Night Football” Season Opener

With the 2011 season schedule recently being released and many intriquing match-ups being marked on calenders nation wide there can be none more intriquing than the Sunday night opener between brother Rex Ryan and brother Rob Ryan. Could this be a super bowl preview game? Fans of both teams may be opined to say so. But for an avid fan this game marks the wrap up to what most of us avid fans will call “the Sunday of the year”. Not only will it be the opening Sunday of the NFL season it will also be the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks. By Sunday night we will have mourned, worshipped, seen   the Green Bay Packers open the season at home against the New Orleans Saints and wrapped up a day of NFL football. The greatest game in the country, this country’s passion. For this “Ryan Bowl” Rex Ryan said he will treat this differently from those in years past, vowing to cut down on the trash talk so as not to disrespect the somber occasion but I say pay the day the respect it deserves and then lets get out the euphemisms if you must and let the trash talking begin. Get your wigs on to spoof your brother, take shots at the other teams highly prolific quarterbacks and let’s get some billboard material up in the locker rooms. It’s football season and it’s going to be a great end to a great weekend. One of the most anticipated weekends of the year. Given the propensity of Jets coach Rex Ryan to boast, it should be no surprise that his identical twin brother talks big, too. You can bet Rex Ryan and the New York Jets will be ready but you can also bet that Rob Ryan will be ready and so will the Dallas cowboys defense. This game folks will be one you won’t want to miss.
