facebooktwitterreddit

Jesse and I conducted the second NFL Mocks Twitter mock draft today during March Madness, so here is a mock draft with a little twist for your Sunday enjoyment! Jesse made the odd picks, and I made the even picks. Follow us on Twitter @NFLMocks and @MHR_Sayre

1. Panthers #nfldraft-Blaine Gabbert. I think I’ll stick with what’s hot at the moment, and Gabbert it is. Though I speculatethis will change.

2. Denver #Broncos: Da’Quan Bowers, DE, Clemson–if his knee checks out, he should be the pick #NFLDraft

3. Buffalo #BIlls-Patrick Peterson-the most likely pick here is Miller, DL, Newton, but last year Bills went with B.P.A with Spiller.

4. Cincinnati #Bengals: Prince Amukamara, CB, Nebraska–Amukamara would step right in for J.Joseph if he leaves

5. Arizona #Cardinals-tough with Dareus and Fairley on the board, but with high picks on the DL recently, they still go with [Von] Miller

6. Cleveland #Browns: Marcell Dareus, DT, Alabama–The Browns need an anchor for their new 4-3 defense

7. San Fran #49ers-A.J. Green, WR, GA Maybe Crabtree, A.J. Green , and good coaching together can make Alex Smith look like a keeper

8. Tennessee #Titans: Cam Newton, QB, Auburn–Wilcard pick here. Titans dump Vince Young and go with Newton for the future

9. #Cowboys-Nick Fairley. The Cowboys want to add help along their DL and Fairley is B.P.A. Need + B.P.A= Cowboys can’t pass up.

10. Washington #Redskins: Jake Locker, QB, Washington–shocking pick, but makes sense. Athletic gunslinger for Shanahan

11. Houston #Texans-Julio Jones WR. At this point the Rams move up if Jones is still available. Texans need D more but can’t resist.

12. Minnesota #Vikings: Robert Quinn, DE, North Carolina–extremely talented pass rusher to go along w/Jared Allen

13. #Lions Brandon Harris, CB, #TheU. Harris is one of my personal favorites evcen if others disagree. Also fills a PON

14. St. Louis #Rams: Aldon Smith, DE, Missouri–Steve Spagnuolo loves to have a bunch of pass rushers

#15 Miami Dolphins-Ryan Mallett– K.C. Joyner thinks Mallett is better than Gab is today #Phins want to stretch the field, Mallet can.

16. Jacksonville #Jaguars: Ryan Kerrigan–Further complimenting their revamped DL. Great pass rusher

17. New England #Patriots-J.J. Watt #Wisconsin. Tough part here was choosing between Watt and Jordan, the position was easy.

18. San Diego #Chargers: Muhammad Wilkerson, DL, Temple–Very athletic 300lb pass rusher

19. #Giants. Giants sweat bullets as they pass over talented Jordan to take High upside Tyron Smith. amazingly first OT off board.

20. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Cameron Jordan, DE, Cal–Continuing to rebuild their DL in Tampa Bay

21 Cheifs-Akeem Ayers. The Cheifs are looking to replace Vrable. Ayers makes plays all over field in pass and run.

22. Indianapolis #Colts: Gabe Carimi, OT, Wisconsin–Colts need to protect Peyton Manning, their huge investment

23 Phiadelhpia #Eagles-OT Nate Solder. Eagles prefer bigger OL, would rather spend first rounder on OL than CB if value is good.

24. New Orleans #Saints: Martez Wilson, LB, Illinois–athletic LB with great speed and potential

25 Seattle #Seahwks-Castanzo. The Seahwks are looking for a Qb, but all 1st rounders are gone;they address OL instead of Ponder.

26. Baltimore #Ravens: Torrey Smith, WR, Maryland–local kid with great size/speed combo for Baltimore

27 Atlanta #Falcons Adrian Clayborn, a player forgotten in most 1st round conversations. some “character concerns”, but talented.

28. New England Patriots: Justin Houston, OLB, Georgia–Houston gives Pats a solid pass rushing option off the edge

29 Chicago #Bears– Rough spot for Bears with best OT off board. But they grab atalented WR with Jon Baldwin of the Pitt Panthers

30. New York #Jets: Phil Taylor, NT, Baylor–Great big bear of a man to hold the inside for Rex Ryan

31. #Steelers-Pouncey. I hate that Ingram is still on board, but Steelers pair the brothers to continue to build their OLine

32. Green Bay #Packers: Mark Ingram, RB, Alabama–Packers don’t need a lot, but this makes offense REALLY scary

We’re also always looking for more writers who love the draft, or for people to submit their own mock drafts for us to post here, or for someone who likes to edit videos for this draft, but more importantly next draft. If you’re interested email me at bartolisj@gmail.com.
