Question: What has been your most memorable College Football experience?
Answer: My most memorable experience in college football is hard to narrow down in one answer. There were great wins at Nebraska, Texas and at home against Texas Tech and also a bowl win against Minnesota in the Insight Bowl in 2009. But the most meaningful to me is being elected a captain two years in a row (Jr and Sr year) by my teammates, love their confidence and trust in me for that honor.
Question: Who was the best player you faced during your College Football career?
Answer: Best player I faced on defense is Ndamakong Suh.
Question: What part of your game do you feel you have improved the most during your college career?
Answer: Footwork as a passer and the quickness of my decision making.
Question: What do you feel is the strongest part of your game?
Answer: My strength, strong arm as a passer and at 230, I am a durable QB. Also an elusive and strong runner.
Question: To succeed at anything in life you need to have something that drives you, what is it that drives you to succeed?
Answer: What drives me to succeed is my overall love of the game and my animosity towards losing. These two things make me feel like losing is unacceptable and I feel as if I would do anything to win.
Question: What do you love most about football?
Answer: Offensive football and the unity it takes, all 11 guys for the offense on the football field must work in cohesion to have a successful play. Its different on defense, you see it all the time how defenders can luck themselves into making a good play and be at the right place at the right time. On offense everyone must do their job or else the play will most likely fail.
Question: Do you consider yourself a vocal leader or someone that leads by example?
Answer: Yes, have been this way all my life, I have a contagious personality that attracts guys to me as a leader.
Question: Does your draft position matter to you? Will it affect you if you fall further than expected?
Answer: Not at all, in my position with so many great QBs in this years draft, I will definitely have to play the waiting game. I just want a shot at getting into an NFL camp and I believe I will stick.
Question: When it’s all said and done what would you have liked to accomplish in the NFL?
Answer: Like every kid who grows up dreaming of playing in the NFL, I want to have a long successful NFL career. I want to be in the likes of Manninngs, Brady, Favre, etc QBs that I have grown up watching who are the best in the game.
