NFL Mocks is proud to bring you our latest feature, Player Interviews.  The staff at NFL Mocks has been working hard to establish many different relationships and thanks to agreements with Ignition APG, D1 Sports, OTG Sports Management and St. Vincent Sports Performance we are able to bring you a closer look at the NFL Draft.  Over the next several weeks you will be seeing a lot of different player interviews and we want to thank the players for taking time out of their day to answer some questions.  Hopefully these interviews will let you get a good feel for the different personalities of each prospect.

This interview was provided by Frank Kearse from Alabama A&M. Kearse  is currently working on all aspects of his game in hopes of improving his draft stock.  We want to wish Frank good luck as the NFL Draft approaches.


Question: What has been your most memorable College Football experience?

Answer: Kearse vividly remembers the 1st time he put on the pads for Alabama A&M.  He mentioned that it felt a lot different from high school and he was a little nervous at first.

Question: Who was the best player you faced during your College Football Career?

Answer: He mentioned that Mississippi State transfer Michael Brown was an excellent player at the tackle position.

Question: What part of your game do you feel you have improved the most during your college career?

Answer: Kearse improved his ability to watch film and take information from that session.  During his high school days they rarely watched any film so it was an adjustment.  The key was learning to make sure he was looking for the right keys and tendencies.

Question: To succeed at anything in life you need to have something that drives you, what is tit that drives you to succeed?

Answer: Kearse has been surrounded by supportive people his entire live which has helped keep him motivated.  He also mentioned that he has high ambitions which drives him to succeed.

Question: What do you love most about football?

Answer: He loves knowing that his hard work will pay off.  He feels that football is one of few things that really rewards your for the work that you put in.

Question: What area of your game do you hope to improve on?

Answer: Strength!  He feels there is always room to improve in every area but he has been mainly focused on becoming stronger.

Question: Do you consider yourself a vocal leader or someone that leads by example?

Answer: Kearse is the lead by example type. ” The most influential people lead by example”.

Question: When it’s all said and done what would you have liked to accomplish in the NFL?

Answer: Kearse is going to work hard to help his team win a Super Bowl.

Question: Does  your draft position matter to you? Will it affect you if you fall further than expected?

Answer: Kearse isn’t worried about his draft position because he will take advantage of whatever opportunity he is given.

Question: What do you feel is the strongest part of your game?

Answer: The ability to use his hands and lock out a blocker is an area where Kearse excels.  He also feels that his versatility is something that will be attractive to a team.
