Here is our updated power rankings for the final week of the season!  This season has gone so quick, but that just means its now NFL draft season!!  This ranking was completed by staff writer Jon New.

1. New England Patriots – Until they lose New England will be the favorite to win the Super Bowl. They showed what they can do despite playing mostly backups on Sunday while dismantling the Dolphins.

2. Atlanta Falcons – Home field and a first round bye are a nice reward for this team. They have been nearly unbeatable at home all season.

3. Pittsburgh Steelers – The health of Troy Polamalu is the real question for the Steelers, if he is hurting this team is not nearly as scary.

4. Chicago Bears – The Bears will sit back and watch to see how the NFC wild card round goes. This team is still a mystery and could make a deep run or flame out in a hurry, but that is why they play the game.

5. Philadelphia Eagles – The Eagles playoff hopes depend on the health of Michael Vick and Desean Jackson. Hopefully the week off gave them time to heal.

6. New Orleans Saints – The Saints have the easiest first round game of any playoff team ever. Though Seattle is no easy place to play on the road, the Seahawks aren’t on nearly the same level as the Saints.

7. Baltimore Ravens – The Ravens looked totally beatable in a close win against the Bengals. They will have to play better next week if they want to see another game in the playoffs.

8. Indianapolis Colts – Peyton Manning in the playoffs is a staple of January. If Indianapolis is able to make a run at things it will be the most impressive run he has had yet given the injuries to this team.

9. Green Bay Packers – The Packers won a tough one at home against the Bears and now will head to Philadelphia to meet Michael Vick and the Eagles.

10. New York Jets – The Jets beat down the Bills, but definitely aren’t at full go entering the playoffs. Their coach will no doubt tell everyone they will win the Super Bowl.
