New York Jets

Last season the Jets were one game away from reaching the Super Bowl and this season they are well on their way to reaching the playoffs.  The biggest question on the team has to be the quarterback position but we have to remember that Sanchez is still developing.  You cannot discredit the fact that he only was the full starter at USC for 1 season.  The Jets appear committed to Sanchez and the next position I feel they will/should address is the defensive line.  Sean Ellis is not getting any younger and someone like Adrian Clayborn or Cameron Heyward would fit nicely as a 5 technique.  Depending on what happens with Santonio Holmes and Braylon Edwards the Jets could look to upgrade the receiver position.

Buffalo Bills

The Bills have a ton of areas they need to address but to me it all starts at the quarterback position.  Ryan Fitzpatrick has had a nice season but ultimately his upside is limited.  The Bills could hope for Andrew Luck but they could also add someone like Christian Ponder or Pat Devlin in the mid rounds.  For all the needs on this team they should just focus on best available player.

Miami Dolphins

The identity of this football team has been all about running the football and this year they haven’t been as effective.  A big question going into next season will be the status of running backs Ricky Williams and Ronnie Brown.  The question marks at the running back position leave me to believe that they will look to bring someone in the mix.  The next biggest issue is the development of Chad Henne.  This organization needs to decide if they are still committed to the young quarterback.

New England Patriots

One could argue that this has been Bill Belechick’s best coaching job yet.  He has been dealing with youth on the defensive side and the in season trade of Randy Moss left them without a legit deep threat.  With all of those factors the Patriots are still the best team in the NFL and are poised for another strong playoff run.  And the rich just get richer as the Patriots have two 1st round picks in the 2011 NFL Draft.  I think they will look to add someone to play the 5 technique position as well as a wide out.  Some defensive linement they might look at are Cameron Jordon, Adrian Clayborn, and Cameron Heyward.  At the wide out position look for Julio Jones, Justin Blackmon, and Jon Bladwin.
