Philadelphia Eagles
Its kind of hard to talk about the draft and team needs after the weekend the Eagles just had but its what we do here at NFL Mocks. If your an Eagles fan you probably could quickly identify a major need and that would be at the cornerback position. Ellis Hobbs went down with a season ending injury but he wasn’t all that effective when he was on the field. Hobbs’ replacement Dimitri Patterson has been a target of opposing quarterbacks and he has struggled mightily. Unfortunately for the Eagles I think that they are going to have some troubles in the playoffs due to their struggles in the secondary. I would love to see the Eagles add someone like Janoris Jenkins from Florida. Jenkins is a similar player to Asante Samuel.
Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys might be also looking to upgrade their secondary and they could target both a cornerback and safety. They could benefit from a safety that could effectively play the deep center field and someone like Rahim Moore could fit the bill. However, the biggest dilemma for the Cowboys is that their draft position might make it tough for them to find the right value at a position of need. The Cowboys could also look to bring in a Offensive linemen.
Washington Redskins
The year long development of the Redskins quarterback situation has ended with Rex Grossman starting the final games. Nothing against Rex but there is no team in the league that looks at him as their quarterback of the future. You hear it week in and week out that the NFL is a quarterback driven league so it is imperative that the Skins address their need at the position.
New York Giants
During the Giants last Super Bowl run many credited the excellent play of the offensive line as a major factor. Now that same offensive line is beginning to show their age and its time for the Giants to begin rebuilding at the position. Luckily for the Giants there will be several lineman available at the position the will be drafting.
