Welcome to another addition of the NFL Mocks Gameday where we take a quick look at the intriguing match-ups for the College Football weekend. This weekend is a very big weekend for College Football because the first BCS rankings will be released this Sunday and the race for the 2 spots in the National Title Game will heat up. Overall this will be an exciting weekend of football and be sure to check out our article where we highlight the Key NFL Prospect Matchups. If you see a player you like you can check to see if we have a scouting report for that player; if not feel free to let know your thoughts in the comments. If your an NFL fan watching the games be sure to check out our Big Board to see where we have some of the prospects ranked.
Arguably the top match-up of the weekend is Ohio State traveling to Camp Randall to take on the #18 Wisconsin Badgers. This promises to be a typical Big 10 game pinning to strong defenses against methodical offenses looking to control the clock. The game will have a major impact on both the Big 10 standings and the National Title stage. Ohio State is looking to run the table and get in yet another National Title game while Wisconsin is attempting to rebound off of a loss and get back in the Big 10 title picture.
While the Ohio State vs Wisconsin game will be a good one I am very excited to see Arkansas vs Auburn. This game has basically the same implications as the other game however this game will be a lot more exciting offensively. This is a big test for Auburn because a win here would give them even more traction in the National Championship talk.
Watch out for a potential upset as Illinois takes on Michigan State. Michigan State is coming off of a big win against Michigan and they are hoping to avoid the upset against the upstart Illini. Another game I will be keeping my eye on is the Florida vs Mississippi State game as the Gators are trying to keep their loosing streak from hitting 3 games. Mississippi State is a good team and could very well pull off the upset.
That is our brief look a the weekend in College Football please be sure to stop by and leave a comment or two as the NFL Mocks Staff will be checking in all day discussing the games.
