Below is the Updated NFL Draft Prospect Big Board as of September 8th 2010.  Please make sure to stop by our Scouting Report Page to see in-depth analysis on each of the NFL Draft Prospects.  NFL Mocks also continues to put together updated NFL Mock Drafts and those can be found on the top menu under Mock Drafts or in our Mock Draft Database.  There has been some movement on the Board since our original was developed way back in early May.  Lets hear your thoughts, who are we missing?  Below you will find the updated Big Board as well as a few thoughts on the movers.

Rising Prospects:

Marcel Dareus– While Dareus has been on the top of a lot of people’s Big Board for awhile we have just started to have him make his move.  I needed to see more of him on the field before I was fully on board.  Well he has had a great couple of weeks topping it off last week with a performance of 8 tackles, 4 tackles for loss, and 1 sack in a loss to South Carolina.  Dareus has a lot of pro potential and has the ability to fit in several defensive systems.

Da’Quan Bowers–  Finally it appears that this former #1 recruit has put it all together.  He continues to put pressure on the quarterback while still holding strong in the running game.  He had a 2 sack performance against North Carolina and he has made the biggest jump on our Board up to #10 overall.  I truly feel he is the best defensive end prospect this this NFL Draft, as of right now.

Falling Prospects:

Robert Quinn–  Quinn is done for the rest of this season and he might have taken the biggest hit out of any of the UNC suspended players.  He had a legitimate shot of going in the top 5 but now is going to have to fit to remain in the 1st round.  The latest reports are the most troubling and the fact that he lied to the NCAA will weigh on the minds of NFL teams come draft time.

On The Bubble: Evan Royster, Joseph Barksdale, Derek Sherrod, Nate Solder, Rodney Hudson, Terrence Toliver, Justin Boren, Mike Pouncey, Duenta Williams, Rahim Moore, Ryan Williams, Aaron Williams, Stefen Wisniewski, Kyle Rudolph, Jermey Beal, Ras-I Dowling, Curtis Brown, Ryan Broles
