NFL Mocks also continues to put together updated NFL Mock Drafts and those can be found on the top menu under Mock Drafts or in our Mock Draft Database. There has been some movement on the Board since our original was developed way back in early May. Lets hear your thoughts, who are we missing? Below you will find the updated Big Board as well as a few thoughts on the movers.
Rising Prospects:
Ryan Kerrigan– The Purdue defensive end makes his debut on our Big Board and I have to say it’s much overdue. He has been a monster this season spending the majority of his time fighting double teams and still producing. On the season he has amazingly already put up 8 tackles for loss and 3 sacks. He he terrorizing offenses and I fully expect this to continue.
DeMarco Murray– Murray has also moved onto the Big Board coming in at #23. The biggest question has been and always will be about duriblity but he is staying healthy this season and putting up monster numbers. Last week he had 110 yards rushing, 2 rushing touchdowns, 5 catches, 36 receiving yards, and 1 touchdown. He is proving to be very explosive and if he can stay healthy a lot of NFL teams will be giving him a look.
Da’Quan Bowers– Bowers really caught my eye this weekend has he had 9 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, and .5 sacks in a loss to Auburn. Bowers was all over the field holding strong against the run and creating pressure on the quarterback. He held strong at the point of attack and was able to follow plays down the line. He is finally living up to the hype he received when he was the top rated recruit.
Daniel Thomas– Thomas is putting up very good number and is making a push up the draft board. He is capable of being a 3 down back in the NFL with good receiving skills to go along with his power running style. Keep an eye on this running back as he hopes to finish the season strong.
Falling Prospects:
Terrence Toliver– In three games Toliver has managed just 9 receptions for 82 yards and 0 touchdowns. He just isn’t finding ways to make plays and you will hear the complaints about quarterback play but the fact remains he needs to get open and produce.
Mike Pouncey– Pouncey moved over to center to help his draft stock and so far it has been a disaster. He has several bad snaps that have lead to turnovers. Pouncey is still a good blocker but if he cant get the ball back to the quarterback he will be seen as a guard only, therefore hurting his stock.
On The Bubble: Evan Royster, Joseph Barksdale, Marcel Darceus, Nate Solder, Rodney Hudson, Terrence Toliver, Justin Boren, Mike Pouncey, Duenta Williams, Rahim Moore, Ryan Williams, Aaron Williams, Stefen Wisniewski, Kyle Rudolph, Jermey Beal
