Tim Tebow is one of the most intriguing figures in this year’s draft. While he may not be a first-round selection, the former Florida star is cashing in on some big bucks another way.

The Florida superman signed a deal with EA Sports that will land him on the cover of their latest installment of the NCAA Football game.

Tebow has also recently signed a $300,000 deal with Nike, so it is safe to say the former Heisman Trophy winner is well on his way to a financially secure life — on top of the money he may or may not have made while at Florida, but that is another story.

“I’ve been playing the college football game since I was about 6 years old, and I still really enjoy playing the game,” Tebow told ESPN.com.  “I don’t play too much during the season, but in the offseason and summer, I definitely like to sit down and enjoy the games.”

Tebow was in Orlando and he suited up in his Gator uniform one last time during a photo shoot for the cover. He also went after the man in charge of Maddden ratings, Donny Moore, to see how he stacked up in the next version of the Madden game.

According to Moore, Tebow will be the best “trucking” quarterback in Madden this season.

“Tebow will be the best trucking quarterback in ‘Madden’ this year,” he said.  “He’s not the most elusive, but in terms of breaking tackles and power, he will be able to put down his shoulder and run over a few defenders.  A lot of this is fluid, but right now in ‘Madden 11,’ we have Tebow at 80 speed and 92 acceleration.  Trucking, carrying the ball, like I said, he’s going to be better than any quarterback coming into the league.”

For the gamers out there, this is some good news as Tebow will be a valuable asset in the video game. As for his on the field success in the NFL, that is yet to be seen.
