<p>The Rams really improved last year, much of which should be attributed to <strong><a href="http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/F/FishJe20.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-nflmocks.com" target="_blank">Jeff Fisher</a></strong>. Fisher came in, changed the culture in St. Louis and got this team going. They traded for <strong><a href="http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/F/FinnCo20.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-nflmocks.com" target="_blank">Cortland Finnegan</a></strong> and drafted <strong><a href="http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/J/JenkJa03.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-nflmocks.com" target="_blank">Janoris Jenkins</a></strong> which really helped their secondary. They still have huge holes at the safety position and they have to address that this offseason. The Rams signed <strong><a href="http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/L/LongJa20.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-nflmocks.com" target="_blank">Jake Long</a></strong> this offseason, taking care of the LT position,as well as the RT position because they can move <strong><a href="http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/S/SaffRo20.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-nflmocks.com" target="_blank">Rodger Saffold</a></strong> there. The signing of <strong><a href="http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/C/CookJa02.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-nflmocks.com" target="_blank">Jared Cook</a></strong> also gives them a legitimate threat at the TE position for <strong><a href="http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/B/BradSa00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-nflmocks.com" target="_blank">Sam Bradford</a></strong>. <strong><a href="http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/A/AmenDa00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-nflmocks.com" target="_blank">Danny Amendola</a></strong> left St. Louis and signed with the Patriots this offseason, which made an average WR group even worse. <strong><a href="http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/Q/QuicBr00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-nflmocks.com" target="_blank">Brian Quick</a></strong> could develop into that #1 WR but he is still quite raw. The Rams could also use an OG to better protect Bradford and open up holes for <strong><a href="http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/P/PeadIs00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-nflmocks.com" target="_blank">Isaiah Pead</a></strong> and <strong><a href="http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/R/RichDa00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-nflmocks.com" target="_blank">Daryl Richardson</a></strong>.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<div id="attachment_26082" class="wp-caption aligncenter" style="width: 310px"><a href="http://cdn.fansided.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/25/files/2013/03/65604761.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-26082" title="NCAA Football: North Carolina at Wake Forest" src="http://cdn.fansided.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/25/files/2013/03/65604761-300x450.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="450" /></a><p class="wp-caption-text">Sep 8, 2012; Winston Salem, NC, USA North Carolina Tar Heels guard Jonathan Cooper (64) blocks during a pass play in the second quarter against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons at BB</p></div>
<p><strong>Jonathan Cooper - </strong>The Rams have to protect <strong><a href="http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/B/BradSa00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-nflmocks.com" target="_blank">Sam Bradford</a></strong> better if they want to battle with Seattle and San Fran for the division title. They took a step in the right direction when they signed <strong><a href="http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/L/LongJa20.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-nflmocks.com" target="_blank">Jake Long</a></strong> this offseason. If they can keep <strong><a href="http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/S/SaffRo20.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-nflmocks.com" target="_blank">Rodger Saffold</a></strong> on the team to play the RT position then they have a great set of bookends. Cooper is an athletic OG who can get outside and block upfield for his RB. If they make Pead their #1 RB, they will need someone to get out front of him. Cooper gets to the 2nd level as well as any OG who has came out recently. He can however, be pushed back by a bigger, stronger defensive tackle if he allows his pad level to rise.</p>
<div id="attachment_26083" class="wp-caption aligncenter" style="width: 310px"><a href="http://cdn.fansided.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/25/files/2013/03/6619544.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-26083" title="NCAA Football: Tennessee at Georgia" src="http://cdn.fansided.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/25/files/2013/03/6619544-300x450.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="450" /></a><p class="wp-caption-text">September 29, 2012; Athens, GA, USA; Tennessee Volunteers wide receiver CordarrellePatterson (84) runs after a catch in the second half against the Georgia Bulldogs at Sanford Stadium. The Bulldogs won 51-44. Mandatory Credit: Daniel Shirey-USA TODAY Sports</p></div>
<p><strong>Cordarrelle<strong> Patterson</strong> &#8211; </strong>The Rams have got to get some weapons for Sam Bradford. They signed <strong><a href="http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/C/CookJa02.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-nflmocks.com" target="_blank">Jared Cook</a></strong> this offseason and that gives Bradford a big weapon at the TE position. <strong><a href="http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/G/GiveCh00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-nflmocks.com" target="_blank">Chris Givens</a></strong> played much better than expected last season and was a good deep threat, but he isn&#8217;t that #1 WR that the Rams need. <strong><a href="http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/Q/QuicBr00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-nflmocks.com" target="_blank">Brian Quick</a></strong> could potentially become that, but he was raw coming out of Appalachian State and may never develop like they want. Patterson is the best WR prospect in this class and should be a prototypical number 1. He is a big, strong, fast WR who is being compared to <strong><a href="http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/J/JoneJu02.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-nflmocks.com" target="_blank">Julio Jones</a></strong>. He has the ability to shake defensive backs off and make the big play. He is still raw and isn&#8217;t really a very good route runner.</p>

<p>To say it was a circus in New York last year might be the understatement of the year. The Jets were a circus and on top of that they were just a really bad team. Both of the problems originated from the QB position too. <strong><a href="http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/S/SancMa00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-nflmocks.com" target="_blank">Mark Sanchez</a></strong> is a really bad QB and a big reason why the Jets are picking 9th in the draft. The circus was mostly caused by the presence of <strong><a href="http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/T/TeboTi00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-nflmocks.com" target="_blank">Tim Tebow</a></strong> on the team. His fans wanted him to come in a play since Sanchize was so bad. Rex Ryan didn&#8217;t want him and refused to play him, picking <strong><a href="http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/McElGr00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-nflmocks.com" target="_blank">Greg McElroy</a></strong> to start over Tebow. On top of all that, they couldn&#8217;t run the ball very well and their defense just wasn&#8217;t very good either. They have a lot of work to do if they don&#8217;t want to finish in the cellar of the AFC East this year.</p>
<div id="attachment_25992" class="wp-caption aligncenter" style="width: 310px"><a href="http://cdn.fansided.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/25/files/2013/03/6633758.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-25992" title="NCAA Football: Towson at LSU" src="http://cdn.fansided.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/25/files/2013/03/6633758-300x450.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="450" /></a><p class="wp-caption-text">September 29, 2012; Baton Rouge, LA, USA; LSU Tigers defensive end Barkevious Mingo (49) during a game against the Towson Tigers at Tiger Stadium. LSU defeated Towson 38-22. Mandatory Credit: Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sports</p></div>
<p><strong>Barkevious Mingo</strong> -The Jets were tied for the 6th least sacks in the NFL with 30 sacks. <strong><a href="http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/P/PaceCa20.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-nflmocks.com" target="_blank">Calvin Pace</a></strong> couldn&#8217;t get to the QB at all last year so he was cut. They signed <strong><a href="http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/B/BarnAn99.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-nflmocks.com" target="_blank">Antwan Barnes</a></strong> but he has only had 1 season of over 5 sacks. Mingo would give them an extremely athletic guy who would end up being one of the best pass rushers in the NFL. He is extremely quick off of the snap and knows how to get by his man. He is limited in the run game because of his size, but could add some muscle to his frame which should help. He also doesn&#8217;t have much experience dropping into coverage so that would need to be worked on.</p>
<div id="attachment_25993" class="wp-caption aligncenter" style="width: 310px"><a href="http://cdn.fansided.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/25/files/2013/03/57087681.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-25993" title="NCAA Football: Oregon at Stanford" src="http://cdn.fansided.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/25/files/2013/03/57087681-300x450.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="450" /></a><p class="wp-caption-text">Nov 12, 2011; Stanford CA, USA; Oregon Ducks defensive end Dion Jordan (96) lines up for a play against the Stanford Cardinal during the third quarter at Stanford Stadium. Oregon defeated Stanford 53-30. Mandatory Credit: Jason O. Watson-USA TODAY Sports</p></div>
<p><strong>Dion Jordan &#8211; </strong>Jordan is an athletic freak. All the reason I listed for the Jets possibly drafting Mingo, the same can be said for Jordan. Jordan isn&#8217;t as quick off of the snap as Mingo, however he is a much more versatile player. Jordan is a former WR and TE who knows how to play in space. He has very fluid hips and is experience in coverage, having the ability to cover TEs and RBs. Jordan has a shoulder injury and had surgery in the offseason but he should be ready for camp and it shouldn&#8217;t give him any lingering problems.</p>

They couldn&#8217;t resign <strong><a href="http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/L/LeviAn20.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-nflmocks.com" target="_blank">Andy Levitre</a></strong> this offseason, which really weakens the interior of their offensive line. They also cut <strong><a href="http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/F/FitzRy00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-nflmocks.com" target="_blank">Ryan Fitzpatrick</a></strong> and didn&#8217;t sign a QB to replace him. From the outside that has to mean that the Bills are going to select a QB in the upcoming draft, now whether that is in the 1st round or if they wait till the 2nd round we don&#8217;t know yet.</p>
<div id="attachment_25982" class="wp-caption aligncenter" style="width: 310px"><a href="http://cdn.fansided.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/25/files/2013/03/6885594.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-25982" title="NCAA Football: New Era Pinstripe Bowl-West Virginia vs Syracuse" src="http://cdn.fansided.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/25/files/2013/03/6885594-300x212.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="212" /></a><p class="wp-caption-text">Dec 29, 2012; Bronx, NY, USA; West Virginia Mountaineers quarterback Geno Smith (12) warms up prior the 2012 New Era Pinstripe Bowl against the Syracuse Orange at Yankee Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Rich Barnes-USA TODAY Sports</p></div>
<p><strong>Geno Smith &#8211; </strong>It&#8217;s painfully obvious that the Bills are going to have to draft a QB in this draft. Geno Smith is the top rated QB in this draft and if he falls to 8 it will be hard for Buffalo to pass him up. There are 2 questions to ask however. Does Buffalo want to take a QB in the 1st round or wait till the 2nd? Are they willing to trade up for Smith? There is a very slim chance than Geno falls to 8 and if Buffalo truly wants him, they will have to trade up.</p>

<p><strong>Chance Warmack &#8211; </strong>Buffalo had one of the better young guards in the league last year in Andy Levitre, however they let him sign with another team and now they have a hole at the OG position. Chance Warmack is the #1 player on some peoples draft boards. The 8th pick may seem a little high for an offensive guard, but is it really if you get an all-pro guard who will open up running lanes for <strong><a href="http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/J/JackFr02.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-nflmocks.com" target="_blank">Fred Jackson</a></strong> and <strong><a href="http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/S/SpilC.00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-nflmocks.com" target="_blank">C.J. <p><strong>Scouting Report/Player Notes</strong></p>
<p>Patterson is a versatile player and he cemented his status as the number one wide receiver in the class of 2013 with incredible athletic ability and blazing speed. He has excellent upside as a potential number one receiver with his combination of size and speed. He only has one year of college production to his name, but I think he flashed the big play ability in his first year at Tennessee that NFL teams wanted to see. Personally, I think he has a little bit of Julio Jones in him. I don&#8217;t think he&#8217;s as polished coming out, but he has that kind of potential at the next level. He can get great separation downfield, and his ability to make plays after the catch is what sets him apart from other players in this draft.</p>

<p>Get used to seeing this name: Cordarrelle Patterson during the 2012 College Football Season. The JUCO transfer to Tennessee has started his career with the Vols with a huge bang., absolutely dominating the first half in their game with the North Carolina State Wolfpack. Patterson started the scoring action with a 41 yard touchdown reception, but later added a 67 yard touchdown run later in the first quarter. The Vols entered the summer with a lot of promise on offense with the talented Tyler Bray at quarterback and the physical specimens Da&#8217;Rick Rogers and Justin Hunter at wide receiver, but Rogers was released from the team because he failed <a href="http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/ncaaf-dr-saturday/da-rick-rogers-admits-failed-drug-tests-looks-142751596--ncaaf.html">drug tests</a>. The Vols knew that Cordarrelle Patterson the JUCO Transfer from Hutchinson Communicty College was every bit as good as the five star ranking that preceded him&#8211;he was also the top JUCO transfer in the country.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s early in the season, but so far Patterson looks very impressive. He&#8217;s catches the ball cleanly and is dangerous with the ball in his hands. He has plus speed and good size, he&#8217;s listed at 6&#8217;2 and 205 pounds on the Tennessee Vols official site.</p>
<p>Patterson has a long ways to go before he should be considered a potential first round pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, but he&#8217;s off to a terrific start and he may have already arrived.</p>
