This is a kid coming from the triple option offense which has seen two guys get drafted in the first round as the first receiver taken overall (Calvin Johnson, 07; Demaryius Thomas, 10). Obviously with the triple option, you are called a lot to block and I think that will be a strength of this guy right away. Being that GT runs the triple option, his route tree is extremely limited and it will take him time to learn that at the NFL level, which could lower his stock a bit.

Georgia Tech RB Orwin Smith is having a big season

Typically, Georgia Tech is one of the best running teams in all of college football, and that’s no different this year. Even without Anthony Allen and Joshua Nesbitt, the Yellow Jackets are cleaning house and utilizing a wide array of playmakers to lead the top rushing attack in the nation.

Quarterback Tevin Washington has been very efficient for the 13th ranked Yellow Jackets, passing for 10 touchdowns and rushing for six with only two interceptions. The junior has run the triple option to near perfection, helping the Yellow Jackets be in position to make some kind of run this season if they can potentially beat Clemson and Virginia Tech later this season.

- Ellington had touchdown runs of 55 and 42 yards in the first two quarters and that was more than enough to keep Georgia Tech down. Ellington controlled the tempo of the game through out and as a 5’10” 180lbs sophomore has room to develop into a full time back in the NFL.

QB Robert Griffin III vs Kansas State – 26 of 38 (68.4%) 404 yards 4 TDs 1 INT

- Robert Griffin III led Baylor to its 6th win of the season and eligible for its first bowl since 1994. He led the Bears to several offensive personal and school records. He displayed the skills and leadership to work at the next level which is all the more impressive having transformed his game from a runner after breaking his leg last year.
