Madden 18 will be hitting store shelves soon, and the NFL star who will appear on the cover has yet to be announced. Here are our top 10 players who will get consideration.

David Johnson

Quickly becoming one of the best running backs in the NFL, David Johnson is a fresh, young face for the franchise to take advantage of. The Northern Illinois product led the league in offensive touchdowns (20) while collecting 1,200 rushing yards in his second season for the Cardinals.

Matt Ryan

It doesn’t get any better than the NFL MVP for the Madden cover selection. Leading the Falcons to their first Super Bowl appearance since 1998 Ryan set Falcons single-season records for passing yards and touchdowns.

A quarterback hasn’t been on the cover since 2010 when Drew Brees made the cover, so to say EA Sports is overdue is an understatement.
