Philadelphia gets several undrafted free agents who could have been day two picks in last weeks NFL Draft

A period just as exciting as portions of the actual NFL Draft is the moment clubs can begin signing undrafted players to free agent or tryout contracts.

It’s a wave of information that hits the NFL world and Twitter universe, and each year major names remain on draft boards.

Philadelphia, after having a successful NFL Draft, on and off the draft board, may have also seen one of the strongest UDFA classes sign over the weekend.

Here’re the ten names that have reportedly signed with the Eagles as undrafted free agents.

More from NFL Mocks

  • RB Corey Clement, Wisconsin
  • C Tyler Orlosky, West Virginia
  • WR Greg Ward Jr, Houston
  • LB Marcus Oliver, Indiana
  • CB Jomal Wiltz, Iowa State
  • P Cameron Johnston, Ohio State
  • DL Winston Craig, Richmond
  • S Tre’ Sullivan, Shepherd
  • TE Billy Brown, Shepherd
  • S Randall Goforth, UCLA

Corey Clement and Tyler Orlosky are home run signings for Philadelphia, as each could have been drafted in the fourth or fifth round this year. Orlosky is likely to win a spot on the 53-man roster behind Jason Kelce and Stephen Wisniewski, and could even beat out a veteran such as Wisniewski, whose played more guard recently.

Clement had a breakout campaign for the Badgers this year with nearly 1,400 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns. Philadelphia drafted Donnel Pumphrey and already has Ryan Mathews, Darren Sproles, and Wendell Smallwood on their roster, but Clements could take a job from Mathews.

Greg Ward Jr. is converting from quarterback to wide receiver after leaving Houston with 39 rushing touchdowns. His chances of getting a 53-man roster spot are not as strong as Clements or Orlosky, but expect him to make a practice squad and follow the footsteps of Terrelle Pryor
