The 2017 NFL draft could end up being the one that vaults the Tennessee Titans into AFC relevance for the first time since 2008.

Already their roster seems on the upswing led by Marcus Mariota and the offense. Now they have six picks coming their way in the first three rounds next April. They rank a distant 24th against the pass, and that is no way to compete in a conference loaded with quarterbacks. Adding a quality cornerback like Teez Tabor isn’t a bad thing at all. O.J. Howard . 1. player. 35. Delanie Walker has been a highly dependable go-to guy for Marcus Mariota the past two years. He’s emerged as a very good tight end. Unfortunately he’s 32-years old. The Titans aren’t going to have him much longer. Adding a quality young tight end gives them depth and a succession plan. O.J. Howard is another of those en vogue tight ends who can size, height, strong hands and decent speed. He’s an instant threat in the passing game teams won’t be able to ignore. Especially with the threat of that ground attack.. TE. Alabama
