College football fans will have to wait one more day to see the results of the newest AP Top 25 poll

The Associated Press announced they will not announce the results of this weeks college football poll due to games affected by Hurricane Matthew. The voters will wait until the conclusion of the Georgia/South Carolina game on Sunday to submit their votes.

Results of the week seven poll will be announced through the Associated Press on Monday afternoon at 12:30 E.T.

While Georgia and South Carolina are not expected to be ranked, the Bulldogs were among the teams last week that received votes and finished outside the top 25.

Georgia won 28-14 once South Carolina was clear of Hurricane Matthew, which tore through the southeastern portion of the United States over the weekend.

Not many changes are expected in the top four of the poll after all of the teams finished with decisive victories. Top 10 teams Houston, Tennessee, and Miami each lost over the weekend, as did ranked Stanford, Arkansas, North Carolina, and Colorado. This presents an opportunity for several teams to move up, including some not previously ranked.

Several teams did not play this week, whether it was due to Hurricane Matthew or a previously scheduled bye week. Nebraska, Wisconsin, Louisville, Ole Miss, Baylor, West Virginia, and Florida all were off.
