Last season, the Missouri Tigers went 5-7 overall, which was just their second losing season in past ten years. The Tigers also totaled five seasons in the last ten in which they reached double-digit wins, with four bowl wins in those five seasons. Despite that collection of success by the Tigers, their 2015 season and pretty much other recent seasons were placed on the backburner.

In it’s place was an ugly scandal that occurred the past few years at the school involving racial mistreatment, numerous public protests, tension between the administration and student-athletes, and during the 2015 season, the scandal reached a different realm as the university witnessed a couple of resignations to members of the administration while also enduring the resignation of longtime veteran head coach Gary Pinkel.

So now, the football program is in the hands of former Missouri defensive coordinator & linebacker Barry Odom. Season number one for Odom and his staff is spending equal amount of time putting the pieces of the puzzle together on the field while also attempting to put the pieces back together for the broken image of the university off the field. Here is the 2016 season preview for the Tigers.
