A team with offensive fireworks but NCAA clouds looming, here is the preview for the 2016 Baylor Bears.

Since 2010, the Baylor Bears were in the midst of what can very well be the greatest run in the history of the entire football program. That run of six straight winning seasons with four equaling 10 or more wins was the result of one Art Briles. During those years, the likes of Robert Griffin III, Terrence Williams, Kendall Wright, Corey Coleman, and Phil Taylor have experienced their NFL hopes and dreams turn into reality during the Briles era.

In a matter of months, the Baylor program is currently experiencing a vital turning point that can alter the program’s future in a major way. The school is currently under an NCAA investigation into numerous sexual and physical allegations that has involved members of the Baylor football team over the years. So far, the investigation has led to the firing of Briles, the resignation of Baylor President Ken Starr and Athletic Director Ian McCaw, and the firings of others within the program. Along with a number of transfers as well as de-commitments from future recruits. On one hand, the 2016 edition of the Baylor Bears will be pretty good still despite what has occurred up to this point. On the other, 2017 and beyond is a dark cloud hanging over the university. Here is the preview for the 2016 Baylor Bears.
