Bovada has updated their Heisman Trophy odds, and a new name is at the top of the Vegas betting lines

An updated betting lines has emerged from Bovada, and Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson is no longer the favorite to take home the hardware

According to one of the largest casinos and sports betting operation, LSU running back Leonard Fournette is once again a favorite to win the Heisman.

Fournette was the favorite for the majority of the 2015 college football season before a tough stretch of games, most importantly LSU’s loss to Alabama.

Of the 21 players on the updated list, Alabama’s Calvin Ridley is the only wide receiver represented. Seven are running backs, while the remaining prospects are quarterbacks.

More from NFL Mocks

Making their first appearance on the list for 2016 are UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen, Alabama running back Bo Scarbrough, both of the quarterbacks of the Notre Dame Fightin’ Irish DeShone Kizer and Malik Zaire, Baylor quarterback Josh Stidham, Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson, Texas A&M quarterback Trevor Knight, and Texas Tech signal caller Patrick Mahomes.

Watson and Christian McCaffery were runners-up to former Alabama running back Derrick Henry, who was drafted in the second round of the NFL Draft by the Tennessee Titans.

It was interesting to see both of the Notre Dame quarterbacks on the list, considering each played at some point last year due to injuries throughout the depth chart.

Among some of the biggest fallers on the list are Tennessee quarterback Josh Dobbs, Oregon running back Royce Freeman, and Miami quarterback Brad Kaaya.

Quarterbacks have hoisted the Heisman Trophy 8 of the last 10 years, with Henry and Mark Ingram being the only running backs to crack the list of recent winners.

The last time a non-quarterback/running back won the Heisman Trophy was defensive back Charles Woodson in 1997.
