The NFL Draft is symbolic of hope and optimism for fans.  It’s a fresh start, a chance to add great young talent to every team.  And just because we don’t know for sure what these kids are capable of in the NFL, we still have a pretty good idea of what these kids bring to the table.  With that knowledge we can determine what teams stood out above the rest in the first round.

5) Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Bucs got the guy they’d be looking at all along.  Not only is this a pick for a position of need, a Tampa native AND one of the best players in this draft, but the Bucs were also able to trade down and acquire another fourth round pick before getting him!  Hard to beat that deal.

Hargreaves is a physical ball hawk who joins a Bucs secondary that is in desperate need of playmakers.  He may not be quite as tall or as fast as some would like, including me, but I trust what he’s done on the field more than I do his physical measurements.  This was the best player on a Florida defense that is loaded with NFL talent and he should be a day one starter next season.
