Nothing excites football fans more during the draft than trades, especially in the 1st round.  There are plenty of possibilities for the 2016 NFL draft.

Not just in the top 10 either.  They could be happening quite a bit throughout the top 31 picks as teams take advantages of projected lower prices to go after players they might covet.  Here are seven such scenarios that would make a ton of sense.

Jaguars leap frog Cowboys for Jalen Ramsey

They’re so close.  The rebuilding project the Jacksonville Jaguars have gone through the past few years is finally starting to bear fruit.  They have some intriguing offensive pieces in place.  What’s left for them is to figure out how to improve their defense.  Free agency assisted them with the arrival of proven veterans like Malik Jackson and Tashaun Gipson.  It’s not a stretch to think they could be one more big move away from completing the puzzle.

Jalen Ramsey is the kind of talent who can put it over the top.  He’s the best player in the draft and plays a position the Jaguars could sorely use some help at corner.  Most draft buzz has him falling no further than #4 to the Dallas Cowboys.  That means they’d have to get to the third pick which the San Diego Chargers hold, and it just so happens they have interest in moving down.  It would not cost to much since Jacksonville sits at #5, and the Chargers would be virtually guaranteed to still land Laremy Tunsil for their offensive line since Dallas won’t take him.
