Having acquired their new left tackle earlier in the round, the Browns swing a deal to send Pro Bowl veteran Joe Thomas to the Panthers, who are seeking an upgrade at the position to replace Michael Oher.  In return Cleveland is able to acquire another top draft choice, with which they get their potential quarterback of the future. <p> </p> <p>Word has leaked out for the past month or so that Cleveland has interest in Michigan State’s Connor Cook.  There might be a reason for that.  He’s among the most experienced and proven winners in the class.  He won more games than anybody, including two big bowls and features the big body and strong arm head coach Hue Jackson covets at the position.  Some will say he’s being taken too early given concerns about his accuracy and maturity, but based on production this is an easy pick.</p>.
