Our final AFC North team of our NFL Draft Grades series, the Cincinnati Bengals were able to make it through the weekend and move on with their quest towards winning a playoff game in 2015.

The Andy Dalton era has been a roller coaster, but one of a different model. The ride has all the hype and build-up, but when the moment comes for said ride to live up to the rave reviews, it falls flat. With this class, the Bengals hope they can erase the miserable playoff woes in the past, filling in holes to make a run immediately.

It was a mixed bag, but the Bengals emerged from the 2015 NFL draft with a few prizes to the delight of Cincinnati fans.

Without further ado, let’s dive into the grades…

Day One

Cedric Ogbuehi. 21. player. 56. If you like Draft Day surprises, you got your wish here at #21. Ogbuehi suffered a torn ACL towards the end of 2014, dropping him to the mid to late rounds on many boards. At the end of the day, Cincinnati clearly feels that Ogbuehi can immediately enter the mix and contribute for the team in a starting role. There’s no other reason why they would’ve drafted him with their first-round pick. It’s odd, and maybe a bit of a reach. It works out, the Bengals brass looks like geniuses. If it doesn’t, well, you fill in the blank. Grade: B-. OT. Texas A&M
