Part of the reason it is so difficult to predict a draft is because not every team operates the same way and by the same rules. Some go by best player available, regardless of position. Others choose to attack their biggest needs. The 2015 NFL draft won’t be any different.
However, just for the sake of argument, what would it look like if teams did indeed draft based solely on needs rather than other factors?
It might look something like this.

1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

1. player. 48. There is a reason that Jameis Winston hasn’t budged from the top spot throughout most of the draft process. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have big problems at quarterback. In fairness, Mike Glennon has never really gotten a fair shot but it doesn’t seem like Lovie Smith is committed to him, and with Josh McCown gone this team is razor thin there.. Quarterback. Florida State. Jameis Winston

2. Tennessee Titans

Oregon. Marcus Mariota. 2. player. 35. Zach Mettenberger? Really? Is Tennessee Titans head coach Ken Whisenhunt willing to stake his ever so precious second chance on a 6th round pick with injury issues? Doubtful. Quarterback was and still is dripping in red ink as their biggest need. Marcus Mariota is the only other one worth going in the top 10. That is the pick they make.. Quarterback

3. Jacksonville Jaguars

52. The pass rush was better than people realize last season for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Unfortunately the primary reason for it, defensive end Chris Clemons, turns 34 this season. There is no guarantee he can duplicate that success. They need a successor in place. Dante Fowler Jr. has that capability.. Linebacker. Florida. Dante Fowler Jr.. 3. player
