With the NFL Combine approaching, it makes sense to release a new 2015 NFL Mock Draft. You can check out the first version here and read my pre-combine big board for top-25 player rankings.

Florida State. Jameis Winston. 1. player. 48. No change here. It was reported that <a href=. QB

USC. Leonard Williams. 2. player. 35. The last update had the Titans selecting Marcus Mariota. They should definitely consider taking him, but Leonard Williams has the tools to be an All-Pro at the next level. Pairing Leonard Williams on the same line as Jurrell Casey would be a nightmare for opposing offensive lines. Taking Williams at number two ensures the Titans that they’re getting a stud who will make an immediate impact on their defense.. DT/DE

DE/OLB. Nebraska. Randy Gregory. 3. player. 52. The Jaguars surprisingly had one of the better pass rushes in the NFL last year with 45 sacks, good for 6th in the league. However, Chris Clemons will turn 34 halfway through the 2015 season. The Jaguars could use a young, high upside pass rusher to replace Clemons as he nears the end of his career.

28. The Raiders need a premier wideout to pair with quarterback of the future Derek Carr. Amari Cooper fits the bill has a future number one receiver. However, the gap between Amari Cooper and Kevin White isn’t as big as it seems. If the real draft were to play out this way, the Raiders could be trade down candidates, but there are no trades in this mock draft.. WR. Alabama. Amari Cooper. 4. player

30. With a new coaching staff and front office in place, the New York Jets will soon be searching for a franchise quarterback. Luckily in this scenario, Marcus Mariota falls right into their lap. Mariota has some work to do transitioning to an pro-style offense, but he has the athleticism and work ethic to be a successful quarterback at the next level.. QB. Oregon. Marcus Mariota. 6. player

57. If the Bears are going to start transitioning to a 3-4 defense under new defensive coordinator Vic Fangio, then they’re going to need big bodies on their defensive line. Danny Shelton definitely fits the bill. At 343 pounds, he is a load at the line of scrimmage and has great quickness for a man his size.. DT. Washington. Danny Shelton. 7. player

Florida. Dante Fowler. 8. player. 44. The Falcons sorely need to upgrade a pass rush that has been lacking since John Abraham walked out the door. Dante Fowler would be a nice start for them. He is an aggressive, violent pass rusher that also plays the run pretty well. New head coach Dan Quinn also recruited Fowler to Florida, so the two already have a connection.. DE/OLB

Ereck Flowers. 9. player. 31. The Giants should look into upgrading Eli Manning’s pass protection. Drafting a talent like Flowers would be great for Eli Manning’s protection while maintaining physicality in the run game. Drafting Flowers to play right tackle would allow Justin Pugh to play his more natural fit at guard. Two upgrades at the price of one.. OT. Miami

51. Jake Long can’t seem to stay healthy and Greg Robinson really struggled on the blind side after taking over when Long was injured. Brandon Scherff could help alleviate some of those pains. Scherff is a road grading run blocker with tremendous strength, and a solid pass protector.. OT. Iowa. Brandon Scherff. 10. player

WR. West Virginia. Kevin White. 11. player. 60. Vikings fans have to be excited for the future. They seem to have found “their guy” in quarterback Teddy Bridgewater. Now all he needs is number one target on the outside. Kevin White broke out for West Virginia during his senior year and displayed and impressive blend of size, speed, and run after the catch ability. Adding White to the roster could potentially give Bridgewater a great target on the outside that he could grow with.

player. 53. Ray Farmer needs a reality check. For some reason he doesn’t believe in using a high pick on a receiver, even though his team desperately needs offensive playmakers. Josh Gordon is gone for another season (and maybe forever), Jordan Cameron doesn’t want to return to Cleveland, and Johnny Manziel is in rehab. The Browns seriously need some offensive talent for whoever is under center next season. . WR. Louisville. Devante Parker. 12

Marcus Peters is guy whose talent level suggests that he should be a top-5 pick. His relationship with his college coaches and dismissal from the Washington football program say otherwise. However, in the NFL we’ve seen talent outweigh character concerns year after year. Peters should be no different. If he’s on the board for the Saints, they should take a serious look at him; they need to upgrade a secondary that was torched in 2014.. CB. Washington. Marcus Peters. 13. player. 15

Cortland Finnegan is not a starting caliber cornerback anymore. The Dolphins need a corner to play across from Brent Grimes next season. Trae Waynes was excellent for the Spartans last season, especially in man to man coverage. Waynes fits the new mold for NFL cornerbacks as a tall, long, athletic player.. CB. Michigan State. Trae Waynes. 14. player. 59

42. The disappointing Michael Crabtree is a free agent and Anquan Boldin can’t play forever. The 49ers need an injection of youth into their receiving corp. Jaelen Strong would be a great fit in the 49ers offense as a big, physical receiver for Kaepernick to throw to.. WR. Arizona State. Jaelen Strong. 15. player

10. Daniel Manning was solid for the Texans last year, but D.J. Swearinger continues to be a disappoint for Houston since drafting him in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft. Landon Collins could be the safety the Texans hoped they were getting when they drafted Swearinger: a physical presence in the secondary. The addition of Collins brings the Texans just steps away from fielding one of the league’s elite defenses.. S. Alabama. Landon Collins. 16. player
