2015 NFL Free Agency Mock Draft: Homes For Top Bargains

Everybody knows who the top names arm, but which teams will solve some of their problems through bargains in 2015 NFL free agency?

Mark Ingram – RB

Best Fit:  Arizona Cardinals

If anybody would know how to use Mark Ingram and invest in using him, it would be Bruce Arians.  He loves to run the ball to protect his quarterback and open up play action, but the Arizona Cardinals haven’t been able to do that all year.  Adding a power back like Mark Ingram would instantly take the pressure off Andre Ellington, allowing Arians to become more creative in his play-calling.

K.J. Wright – LB

Best Fit:  Atlanta Falcons

The defense as a whole is just bad for the Atlanta Falcons.  It starts with the pass rush but they also have problems at linebacker.  They really have no playmakers at the position.  K.J. Wright would change that.  Somewhat overlooked on a loaded Seattle defense, he is a fast, athletic tackler who can blitz and drop into coverage.  He’s everything the Falcons need.

Rahim Moore – S

Best Fit:  Chicago Bears

The pass defense has been atrocious for the Chicago Bears all season.  A big part of the problem has been poor safety play.  Rahim Moore has quietly become a fixture in Denver but a salary cap squeeze could make him a regrettable casualty.  Despite an injury history he has stayed healthy lately and is only 25-years old.  His skill and leadership on the back end are what the Bears have been missing.

Cole Beasley – WR

Best Fit:  Tampa Bay Buccaneers

They have their towering #1 guy in Mike Evans.  Now the Tampa Bay Buccaneers need to think about some complimentary pieces.  Cole Beasley has emerged as a threat in the slot for the Dallas Cowboys.  Given their salary cap problems he may not stick around next year, making him one of those quiet high value pickups for a team that knows how to use him.  The Buccaneers are gunning for a quarterback and he’ll need weapons.

Stephen Paea – DT

Best Fit:  Oakland Raiders

With Derek Carr becoming their centerpiece, the Oakland Raiders need to focus their next draft on arming him more on offense.  That means 2015 NFL free agency can be directed towards finding help on defense.  A big key for the Silver and Black is interior pass rush.  They want to unlock the full potential of Khalil Mack and Sio Moore, so they need somebody who can push the pocket.  Stephen Paea has become that type of player in Chicago.

Rodney Hudson – C

Best Fit:  St. Louis Rams

The offensive line has really hampered the St. Louis Rams all season despite their commitment to running the ball.  Pass protection just isn’t where it needs to be and that’s why their quarterbacks keep changing.  They need more leadership up front, and that starts at center.  A great option they need to consider is Rodney Hudson.  He is the 5th highest rated player at the position in the NFL according to Pro Football Focus, as a solid pass blocker and even better road grader.
