Louisville wide receiver DeVante Parker has missed the entire season due to an injury he suffered in late August, but his return to the field on Saturday against North Carolina State made it feel like he’s never left. Parker was phenomenal last year as a junior with Teddy Bridgewater as his quarterback, and it was a shock he decided to come back to school for a senior season, but he did.

Likely still a first round pick, Parker proved to NFL scouts and to the country what kind of dominance he is capable of on his first catch of the game. What a pretty sight it was to see.

Parker isn’t showing any lingering effects from his foot injury, catching nine passes for 132 yards. After scoring 12 touchdowns a year ago, it’s only a matter of time before we see Parker dancing in the end zone after his first touchdown catch of this season. You can see the burst is back for Parker, and college football fans have to be excited that one of the best playmakers in the country has returned to action, and done so with a bang.

Not only was Parker’s return to the field good for his NFL Draft stock, he helped Louisville win the game. Now with he and Michael Dyer, the Cardinals have a really intriguing pair of playmakers offensively that scouts are going to watch on a weekly basis with great interest.
