With five games gone, how does the quarterback landscape look?  Here is a countdown of NFL power rankings to find who is the best in the league.

#32 – Geno Smith – New York Jets

It was rock bottom in Week 5 for Geno Smith and the New York Jets offense.  They thoroughly manhandled by the Chargers and Smith was as inefficient and listless as ever.  So much in fact that he played poorly enough to force the Jets to put in Michael Vick.

#31 – Blake Bortles – Jacksonville Jaguars

It hasn’t been a pretty start for the #3 overall draft pick.  Blake Bortles most certainly has talent and it has shown up on a number occasions but his inconsistency and inability to protect the football are very problematic and why the Jacksonville Jaguars keep losing.

#30 – Teddy Bridgewater – Minnesota Vikings

The potential was just starting to appears after Teddy Bridgewater posted over 300 yards passing and a rushing touchdown on Atlanta but an untimely injury has caused his stock to sag.  The Minnesota Vikings can only hope he returns soon based on how Christian Ponder played in his place.

#29 – Jake Locker – Tennessee Titans

Play good for a stretch.  Play bad for a stretch.  Get hurt.  That is the almost clockwork routine of Tennessee Titans quarterback Jake Locker.  He has four touchdown passes and four interceptions and now has to wonder if he will even be back after seeing Charlie Whitehurst play well in relief.

#28 – Kyle Orton – Buffalo Bills

E.J. Manuel is out and Kyle Orton once again finds himself in command of another offense.  He wasn’t anything special in his first start, posting 300 yards passing but only putting up 17 points with a touchdown and interception.
