The SEC is set to dominate the latest weekend of NCAA football but the game to see isn’t what many expect.  Most will insist on the matchup between #3 Alabama and #11 Ole Miss what with the explosive Crimson Tide offensive going against the stingy Rebels defense.  However the real game that people must try to see is another SEC tilt between Texas A&M and Mississippi State.

Kenny Hill and Dak Prescott highlight stacked offenses

The primary reason for this is that neither team was expected to be doing so well in 2014 and also because both programs boast top tier offenses.  The Aggies are led by sophomore sensation Kenny Hill, who has more than replaced Johnny Manziel and leading an attack that is averaging 51 points per game.  Hill has thrown at least three touchdown passes in four of five games.

Then there is Dak Prescott.  While not quite the prolific passer Hill is, he is becoming one of the top dual threat quarterbacks in the SEC and the entire NCAA football landscape.  He has 11 touchdown passes and three touchdown runs and has topped 100 yards rushing in three-straight games.    The chances for a shootout make this matchup a much more obvious must-see as compared to Bama-Mississippi or Stanford and Notre Dame.

Mississippi State is coming off their major upset of LSU while A&M pulled off a big comeback over Arkansas.  Both teams are riding high and each has high hopes for their chances at the playoffs for the national championship.  This game is hugely important.
