Monday Night Football: Eagles vs. Colts Predictions

Monday Night Football is back on ESPN, as tonight we’ll see a battle between the Philadelphia Eagles and Indianapolis Colts. As a part of our usual MNF breakdown, we’ll bring you predictions for this matchup, including who might win this game by just one point.

ANDREW LUCK: 350 yards, 4 TDs, 0 INT

Its time for Luck to have a huge game. The Eagles’ secondary isn’t going to provide much of a threat, giving the Colts an opportunity to go with a full air attack all night long. I wouldn’t be surprised to see three of these touchdowns come in the first half.

NICK FOLES: 290 yards, 3 TDs, 2 INT

As much success I think Foles will have, he has to be put down for a few turnovers after what we saw in Week One. Three touchdowns makes sense here. The Colts are fairly weak in the secondary, so I don’t expect much of a competition on deep balls.

T.Y HILTON AND REGGIE WAYNE: 200+ yards, 3 TDs

If you’re going to give me one of these two guys on Cary Williams all night, I’ll take Wayne and Hilton any day of the week. This game is matchup heaven for the Colts. They’ll utilize Wayne and Hilton early and often.

LESEAN MCCOY: 120 yards, TD

Sticking with the theme of big offensive performances, I think McCoy will have a nice rebound outing against the Colts tonight. I don’t trust the Indianapolis defense very much, and I have to believe the Eagles will utilize the running game as much as possible. Look for McCoy to get 25+ carries.

FINAL SCORE: Colts win 30-29

I could see the Eagles sticking this out and winning it at the end, but I believe in the Colts offense just enough. In a tough call, give me Chuck Pagano and his squad here.
