In these 2015 NFL Draft rankings, we take a look at the running backs of this class. Last season, the running back class as a whole was average at best. Now, the 2014 group looks to shed the stereotype that first-round running backs no longer exist. This class in general could be the best of the decade.

Too bold? Turn on the tape…

We’ll get a glimpse at the future in this slideshow, as we feature some backs from top-25 teams that can seriously get the job done now, and project extremely well to the next level.

This year, there’s a potential that we could have over 25 running backs selected, with as many as four of them in the first round. Teams are looking to get back to the balanced ground and pound game much like the Seattle Seahawks bring to the table. In a league where the passing game is often focused on, a transition might be coming starting with the 2014 class.
