Each week, the staff of NFL Mocks will bring you NFL Bold Predictions from each member. They’ll be focusing on the week ahead of NFL action, and they’ll provide thought-provoking stats and trends to get you ready for the week ahead. There will be a tally at the end of each slideshow (aside from this one) to keep track of the staff’s accuracy throughout the year. The winner at the end will receive full bragging rights, and hopefully a little pat on the back from the loyal readers!

Week One of the NFL Season is upon us and we here at are ready to bring you our first edition of NFL Bold Predictions for the first week of action.

This week, Erik Lambert, Sayre Bedinger, and Joe Wedra will do our best to not only go a little bold on our predictions, but attempt to project some of the sleeper upset picks of the week. There’s always a chance that one of us gets all five correct – that will be tallied as a bonus point in the standings.

Will the Bills offense surrender a record amount of QB sacks against the Bears?

Can new Ravens WR Steve Smith put up unheard of numbers against the Bengals?

Can the defending champs get blown out by Aaron Rodgers and the Packers?

Find out in this week’s edition of NFL Bold Predictions!

As always, we at NFL Mocks want to include our fans in everything we can. If you have a bold prediction that you think is wild enough to share, tweet us every Monday on Twitter @NFLMocks, and you could be included in the upcoming edition of NFL Bold Predictions!
