It was a glorious weekend across the country for NFL Draft and college football fans alike. Football is back, and it’s here to stay for awhile.

Along with a new season comes some rust, but good players know how to shake it off, especially when it matters most. That was especially the case in the Florida State vs. Oklahoma State game on Saturday night in prime time, as Jameis Winston pretty deep into the game had no touchdowns and a pick.

At the end of the game, Winston brought it home, finishing with 370 passing yards, one touchdown, and another rushing touchdown, one that will be on highlight reels for quite some time.

It appeared as though early on that Winston really had some kinks to work out. Perhaps it was the pressure of playing prime time at an unfamiliar venue coming off of probably the greatest single season any college freshman athlete could hope to enjoy. The expectations for Winston — and FSU, for that matter — were and are extremely high, and he didn’t quite live up to them, but in the end, it was the same clutch Jameis we all remember from last season.

Here are some other prospects across the country who impressed. If you have a prospect you watched that you felt deserves recognition, let us know in the comments!
