QUESTION: Can the Redskins win more than 8 games this year?

Joe says: There’s a good chance the Redskins can put together a strong campaign this year, but I see them settling at just about eight wins. Pierre Garcon and DeSean Jackson will be a dynamic duo for RGIII. Alfred Morris and Roy “I Just Came to Say” Helu will be a good threat to balance the offense. This is a good team, but they won’t have any cupcake games.

Sayre says: I would say it’s possible, especially in a division that is pretty wide open. The Redskins have a lot of ammunition offensively. Like some of the other teams in the NFC East, the problem is on defense. Their secondary is a major question mark for me. It’s all about the health of RG3, and whether or not he’s back to his 2012 form, which was superb. This is a guy with all the talent in the world, but he came back too soon last year.

Erik says: It’s a tall order. They are certainly in a winnable division with Dallas, Philadelphia and New York. I really like the addition of DeSean Jackson next to Pierre Garcon and Jordan Reed. However, everything hinges on two factors: how well RGIII plays and whether the defense can get some stops every game. With a new head coach, that is no certainty.
