Jamie Collins

Linebacker, Southern Miss

Jamie Collins was one of my favorite all-around defensive prospects that came out in the 2013 NFL Draft. I felt like he should have easily been a first round pick. He didn’t log any sacks as a rookie in the regular season but had a huge game vs. the Colts in the playoffs and proved that he has a bright future in this league. Collins can play all over the defensive formation and has the ability to put pressure on the quarterback. I think he’s going to become an every down player for the Patriots, and I think he’s also going to be a very good pass rusher for them. He has a dynamic skill set and is in line to break out in a big way in 2014.
