2014 NFL Draft Grade: San Diego Chargers Select Jeremiah Attaochu, LB, Georgia Tech

The San Diego Chargers swapped 2nd round pick and traded a 4th round pick to the Miami Dolphins for the 50th pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, where they selected Jeremiah Attaochu, LB, Georgia Tech.

The Chargers needed to upgrade their pass rush, and they paid up to get it done.

Previous pick: Jason Verrett, CB, TCU

I think the Chargers are putting together a solid draft so far. Attaochu has a great motor and adds some more athletic ability to that edge rush position for San Diego, a defense that got a lot better as the season wore on in 2013.

Pick Grade: B+

Should have traded up sooner to get KVN. But I like this guy too.

So upset at the Lions for taking our guy. KVN is gonna look good with Ansah. Lions officially my most hated team lol but still like this pick. Great consolation for missing out on Van Noy. We should trade up again to get Nix and this is a home run draft.

    Great pick up
