The New York Giants selected Weston Richburg with the 43rd pick in the 2014 NFL Draft.

PICK GRADE

This pick here gets a B. I think Richburg is a great player, but I think this was a slight reach.

QUICK TAKE

First center taken, and I think it’s worthy. The Giants needed help, and they upgraded here.

OUTLOOK FOR 2014

When the New York Giants do anything, I think it’s safe to say that everyone can just sit back and watch because you always know there’s going to be a circus. The NFC East is such an odd division, but I think the Giants can come out of the off-season as frontrunners to take the division title and make a run into the playoffs. Do they have a chance to ultimately beat the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers? Probably not. However, with what they’ve done so far, I think they have a real shot to compete very well in the divisional matchups they’ll face this year.
