The Indianapolis Colts selected Jack Mewhort with the 59th pick in the 2014 NFL Draft.

PICK GRADE

I’ll give the Colts a C here. I think Morgan Moses would have been the better pick here, and I think it’ll show in a few years.

QUICK TAKE

The Colts need line help, so I understand this pick – but why wouldn’t they go after Moses?

OUTLOOK FOR 2014

Andrew Luck and the Colts are another team that has a lot to be excited about for 2014. They’ll get some great players like Reggie Wayne back, and they appear to be one of the AFC favorites to go deep into the playoffs and make a run at the AFC title. While they might be a few players away, the Colts have a good shot at making a name for themselves early and often next season. Don’t look now, but Chuck Pagano’s team might be looked upon as a true contender in the AFC.
